Connect your DSL to wireless router and enable automatic ip on wireless. check whether DHCP is enable in DSL router or not.

Make sure that the wireless switch on your laptop is on. Click on view wireless network by right clicking on the network icon on your system tray. Locate the name of your modem ( SSID ) & enter the wireless encryption key ( WEP ) or password

What you can do is test the PS3 while wired to the router first. If that does not work you may need to forward ports on your router so it will allow the PS3 to accept connections through the router firewall.

The DSi only works with WEP encryption. The 2Wire and most other newer routers use WPA encryption.

Simply logon to your router with a web browser. The default IP for it is 10.1.1.138 but it might be different, just check the manual or internet for the IP. Go to "Home Network" then "Advanced Settings" and change the security from WPA to WEP and save.

Whenever your dsl light on the 2wire modem turns red,it only means that there is a problem with the dsl connection to the modem. Here are some ways on how you can isolate the problem

1. check if your modem is properly connected to the phone jack by unplugging and replugging you phone cable
2. try to reboot the modem
3. if still getting the same lights, contact your ISP

The 2wire dsl modem/router cannot be use with a another cable modem , since this 2wire device is also a modem/router and its made for the DSL conenction that's why it wont work with Cox cable, the best thing that you can do is to ask Cox to give a wireless modem/router like this 2wire so you can still use the wireless connection of your computer..

Check your firewall setting and also your security settings for cookies. Try putting less of a restriction on your cookies. BofA and wells fargo require that they can ping you and get your IP address incase of fraud so chances are lowering your settings on your cookies will solve the problem.

Don't use Engenius...there tech support is terrible and that is very mildly put....I don't use them anymore.....
