Question about BMW Car Audio & Video
Need the codes for the stock radio for ny BMW 325i 1995
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your BMW service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

as far as i can remember. the volume knob comes off. Then there is a screw underneath this that you undo. the face then comes off the stereo. And inside here there are two metal pins that you press sideways to remove whole radio. Hope this helps.

That means it has lost power, maybe the battery was disconected. Do not try to guess the code, if you enter the wrong code three times, it will lock. You need to get the serial number off the radio, and then BMW can get you the code. If you can not remove the radio yourself, take it to somewhere like Best Buy to have it pulled out. They will charge you much less than the hour of labor BMW will charge to pull it. Hope this helps.

take out the sterio get the serial number behind the radio take the serial number to the dealer and the will give you the passcode. ps some times the code is in the manual in a card or on the side of the gloove box or on fuse cover
