Question about Computers & Internet
I was try to use the "push button setup" to connect my router to my laptop. How to turn off this type of connection? I dont want to use this feature anymore and want to go back using password instead. Can you help me with this? Thanks.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Need help with a router
Yes I do know routers require configuration (setup) go connect to some devices to access the internet.
I am not familiar with the ISP 3web -- can you provide me the website where the support or help function is located.
I may have found the 3web help site check the following link to assure the service is right and let me know if you have a DSL or Cable connection.
If you are not familiar wit configuring your wireless router --
Will you provide me with the Manufacturer and Model of the
Router? They all configure differently when it comes to
detailed instructions. (the link provides instructions for
some routers however maybe not for yours)
I may need manufacturer and model information on your modem device depending on what I find at the ISP's site. (if the link is right I probably do not need this)
The following is probably not covered in the 3web documentation.
With wireless services attached to your network you should also consider securing that wireless service so others cannot easily access your network and computers, like your neighbors or people on the street with a laptop.
If you want to consider that I can discuss several options with you. However to determine which options your equipment supports I will need to know the manufacturer and model number of your wireless adapter or the computer with a built-in wireless adapter you intend to connect to your wireless network.
