Here is the solution
touch the screen in the right bottom and turn the device on keep the screen pressed. when it asks to reset data select yes

Your unit most likely has a firmware error, which could be due to a corrupt file. To solve it you yourself can try to update the firmware when connecting to the pc, if the unit cannot stay on enough for this to be performed, your unit will have to be sent in to service.

The Garmin was worming GREAT then all of a sudden it says no date available if you try to type in an address the grey box keeps popping up. Can anyone help?
