Question about Microwave Ovens
As always, we would really need the full model number from the tag on the
unit to be able to give you detailed help.
Otherwise we can only help in a general sense.
Please post a new help request with your full model number and very detailed symptoms, namely what it's doing or not doing, and when.
But F9 generally indicates a problem with the door latches or switches, except on microwaves, for which F9 is usually a problem with the inverter or related circutiry.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. Without the model number to be exact the F9 is a door latch failure it may have gotten wet while cleaning. Try to unplug the unit for about ten minutes and turn it back on the lock might advance and clear the F9 code from your display. If not you may have to replace the door lock.
