How to pair my 6XX PLANTRONICS WITH MY IPHONE 3G

Plantronics has really good instruction on their site. And if that does not work their customer service is excellent if you call them.

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 903 headset into pairing mode by pressing the power button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, it's not in the pairing mode. Below is a link for the user guide which has the pairing instructions:

Remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove
again the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Delete any pairing information for your BackBeat 903 headset from the phone and pair it again with your phone, carefully following the instructions on the following link for the Plantronics BackBeat 903.

That should get the cobwebs out of the connectivity between the headset and the phone.

On your phone. goto the Bluetooth menu and select "Add Device or Add Headset"

i actually got this to work with my iphone 3G S. i pressed the little black button then saw a blue light flash, and then i pressed and held the + volume button and the call control button until it started blinking blue and red and my iphone picked it up instantly. it did take a couple of times to get the headset to go into pairing though
