what i would recommend is to unplug the unit and hold the power/eject button for 15 seconds. Plug the unit back in and hold the eject for 10 seconds while the unit is on. frist make sure you are inserting the disk correct label side up or label to the right if you are which you mostly Are then your console has a propbelm with feeder which mean it must go back to the store
I had the same symptoms. The reason to my problem was that my 2 year old has pushed *three* disks into the console. I got them out through the following, admittedly pretty weird, approach: I hit the eject button, while gently prodding with another disk into the slot (at a slight upward angle). I could feel the disks inside the console rotating or vibrating as I was *gently* touching them with the fourth disk and hitting eject repeatedly. Somehow, the gentle prodding made one of the disk come out a bit, so I could pull it out easily. (I was pretty surprised when a second disk came out, and then a third.)
