If you have to ask call a plumber. This is a task for a pro. I have spent years as a plumber and I still hate doing these thing. It will take a pro 4-6 hours to hook one up. But if you still want to try here we go...

You will need to find tohe water line comeing into your home. Sometimes you are lucky and they are inside the garge some times the line comes up inside and outside wall. How do I operate Culligan 01011289?

That is a serial number NOT the model #. We need the model number to help you.
Example: Culligan Gold series, Silver, Medallist, Mark 100, etc.
Here is a link to help you find your model:

The water pressure in the entire house is very poor. If more than one water tap is open the water trickles out. The house has a Culligan Water Softner system. Is there a filter or some other home...

First make sure all the filters on all faucets (kitchen, bathrooms and even the dish washer and washer) are clean and not clogged, sometimes on areas with hard water you will experience sand and minerals to accumulate and clogged all filters. If all filter are clean with no minerals, then your problem could be the culligan filter, ask your sales rep to perform an inspection for minerals on all ending lines.

Hope this clear up your water lines. It happened to me.

My Culligan water softner is leaking from the coonection where the tank and the control head meet how can i fix this problem?

It depends on how old it is. Older Culligan systems(pre 1999) have separate inlet and outlet on tank and have washers that fit inside the "FEET" that slide onto tank. Newer style systems have center opening tanks with o-rings that seat on tank. You need to see what model it is. Bypass the system, run through a manual regeneration to relieve pressure, then you can change the washer or o-ring. They are only available at Culligan.

Need diagram to re-install culligan module 4428-45 serial 322938

If you have not changed the other filters then they need to be changed also. The system should be sanitized before you re-install the filters. The Membrane goes in with the large rubber seal at top of filter housing. Place inside the head of module until it seats and reinstall housing over it.
1. Drain the tank completely
2. Take all the filters out
3. Add 1/4 tsp household bleach to each housing, turn water back on to fill housings, let it sit for 15 minutes.
4. Flush the bleach out completely.
5. Re-install filters
6. Flush/empty the storage tank 2 x before using water.

I have culligan house water softner. after i changed my hot water heater my softner stopped working. I dont have a manual to check. any suggestions?

Unless the softener was bypassed when the water heater went in, installing a water heater has no bearing on the softener working or not. Is it unplugged?

Hi,
Water softners will remove approx. 90% of the iron from the water...if this is acceptable then you are okay with the Culligan...if not then you will also have to install an iron removal system in addition to the softner.
Also check around with your local plumbers, as many will install a water softner at a gereatly reduced cost from what the franchises will charge you...and they have just as good a systems and often do a much better installation job.

Silver water softner sounds like water running all the time

It is running to drain. The sealpack (main piston & sealpack are one unit) is bad and needs to be replaced. If you are handy you can do this yourself. There is a retrofit kit to help repair these issues. It is only available at Culligan. It is about $10.

Constant flow from my culligan soft minder twin water softner

A constant drip to drain or brine refill indicates a problem with the seals in the valve. You need to determine which tank is leaking. The piston and seals need to be replaced.
