Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

My Baldwin PianoPro, Model EP101's sound control no longer works.

The sound control switch does not change the volume, it is stuck on loud, and I am searching for instructions on how to fix it or find someone that can put me through the process.

SOURCE: Creative Speaker Of Model SBS-370 The Volume Control is not working, How to directly Connect those two Wires connected to Volume control,bypassing the Volume Control Switch

generally this is due to ground problem, signal gnd and power gnd need to be separate (i faced the same problem even i dint do anything from hardware side .. don ask me hw it happned).. open the volume controller u will find a small PCB (printed circuit board) with volume control ,LED and a connector. see at the back side of the voume control u will see five pins starting from right side short 1st and fourth pin. provided you connect ground of both cables which goes inside the volume controller.. it works for me.. you may experiment as i did...

Either your volume control is not tracking properly or the audio chip responsible for volume change is not working.

My LG TV will make a loud tic toc soundthen the volume will go out

your volume is very high
and the tacktile key for the volume is stuck from dirt
so clean the control panel on the tv
very carefully i use an old toothbrush {never throw them away!} and some IPA or i use some washing liquid
same for LCD you take 30ml of IPA and add two drops of good strong dishwash liquid shake it add 300ml water
then you have lcd spray
dont add the liquid to water you must use alchohole too disolve it first then add the water {so its long chains bind right}

if it goes on they perhaps its an audio amp problem {dont think its sounds like this}
sound like a stuck keys on the panel

I need to change the volume on a Motorola WT41N0. It's entirely too loud for the space I'm working in.

Change volume settings by selecting
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Volume & Sounds icon >Volume tab.
Move the slider to change the volume level or use volume
control on voice application.

RCA 3860 Audio/video receiver. Problem is that the volume knob doesn't change the volume, and if you touch it, it either gets too, too soft, or way too loud.

Sounds like dirty contacts on control itself. I would switch machine off from mains and spray the volume control with switch cleaner,YOU WILL NEED TO GET INSIDE THE MACHINE TO DO THIS. available from say cpc components preston. this should cure fault.

Baldwin Model 230 DE when turned on makes a loud thunk like the volume is turned way up, then when you disturb or shake the organ or stomp on the floor it makes a loud noise like if you twanged a coil...

If the organ has a reverb spring "tank" in it, that is likely where the spring sound comes from.

The initial noise is likely due to the initial unbalance of the power audio amp.

Lesser organs don't disconnect the speakers till the amps attain balance so the inrush pulses the speakers..
