Driver side speaker keeps going in and out. Have any idea what this could be?

Hello,
It could be the wiring going from the radio to the speaker. It would most likely be right at the speaker contact points or just behind the kenwood cd player at the wire harness. If all wiring looks snug tightly then double check for shorts. Wires chafe all the time then intermittently touch other wires or metal on the vehicle. Assuming the speaker itself is in good condition the problem should be easy to fix. Also, make sure all fuses are the correct amps and in the correct slots.

Keeps cutting off when you hit the power button,it's like it is blowing a circuit or something, maybe a circuit protecter or a fuse> Thank you

Disconnect all of your Speaker leads and see if it still does that when Powering on, If not then one of your speakers/Wires has a direct short. you can test the speakers/Wires with a multi meter you can tell as they should have 6-16 ohm resistance. If it still does this with no speaker wires connected then you have an internal short and should take it to a repair center or local audio/video tech.

How do i take apart the speaker to fix it?

Generally the speaker can be removed from the box by taking the Grill portion off. Some are attached with Velcro and some with plastic pins on the frame that are pushed into the box. If a speaker is set in place with glue, you can't remove it unless you rip it out completely by hand. Some have screws and these are easy to remove. The speaker wires may be short, so take care not to rip out wires with the speaker attached. When you did the speaker replacement, place the speaker Grill (Front panel) back in place and you are done.

Shorted Out a JL Audio E4300 Amp

The screw through the speaker wire caused a dead short and turninged it up loud, you may have fried the capacitors on the output side of the amp circuit. It is easy to tell if you open the amp up, but do so with it disconnected and out of the car. The tops of the caps may be split or bulged. It is worth fixing in my opinion.

My harman kardon avr 100 keeps cutting out every 3 secs. i can hear the music but constently keeps cutting off. its very annoying... any ways to fix this probem?

Check the impedance of the speaker wires going into the amplifier. It sounds like at least one set of speakers is overloading the amp (shorted, or almost shorted)

Speakers made popping sound and now receiver is in protection mode

It sounds like you have some wires that are touching cause the reciever to protect itself. Go over and check all wiring and make sure you have nothing touching. Unplug device while you are doing this and then when done plug back up and see if that fixed issue.

You need to press the reset butten every 10 hours

If you have to keep resetting it the thermostat maybe going bad. They are not to costly maybe around $15 dollars.
Inspect the element's wiring and make sure that it look's intact and no burnt look to it. They can short out and trip the reset button also.
Turn power off and disconnect the thermostat one wire at a time and reconnect to new one. You could draw yourself a diagram of th ewiring pattern to make sure you wire it back up correctly.

My stereo keeps saying ''protect''. how can i fix it? ive tried to unplug it for 4 hours and it still dont work

Check the speaker wire connections and make sure that none of them are crossed. Shorted wires will cause the reciever to turn on the protect mode to keep the amplifier from shorting out. Try disconnecting the speaker wires from the reciever. if you turn it on and it still says "protect" then the short is possibly in the reciever itself.
