Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer
We have an LG front loader that died... when you push the power button nothing happens, no lights, sound, etc. Our regular appliance repairman changed the 2 control boards and still no power. Now he wants to try replacing the door switch. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be? Should I call an LG authorized technician? (already spent over $200 with no results) thanks for your help!
Check the power filter board. it's the first component that the power cord encounters in the machine; before the main board.. should have 120volts in and 120volts out. there have been problems with the wiring harness between the main board and display board. these are both rare though. it's almost always a main circuit board failure. i don't think a new door switch will solve your problem.
