SOURCE: I have a whirlpool duet steam and reads codes F06

OK your almost there. The switch or Latch that locks the door is faulty or bad. It is either that or probably not connected to the right terminal. New control board!!! That was expensive! Good luck!

My whirlpool duet washer has error codes, F06, E01 and int. how can I reset the washer?

The Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) on the main electronic control board is corrupted. Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, restore power and see if the code clears. If not, the replace the main electronic control board.

Error Code 01 F06

Your fault is mentioned here.

An F06 fault code in a Whirlpool Duet washer (the Kenmore HE3/4t's are also made by Whirlpool) usually means a motor-related problem. It usually pops up when the drum won't rotate at all or only very sluggishly. Here's the excerpt from the Whirlpool Duet Service Manual on this:

Washer error F06 E01

The error codes F6 E1 for Maytag Maxima 6000 front load washer means that the MCU AND CCU are not communicating. You need to check the wiring and plugs to make sure they have a good connection.

Error code F06 and E01

Here is what the F06 code stands for
Drive Motor Tachometer Error
The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down.
If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.
Potential Causes
• Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the
Motor ControlUnit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit
(CCU)
• Check the Drive Motor
• Check the MCU
• Check the Wire Harness

Whirlpool duet washer-error F06 and E02

Unfortunately F06 E02 is a very bad error. It means you have an interface communication error. That means that the main control board isn't communicating with the front interface control board. You can pull the washer out and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. Next, the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. Now check all the wire connections between the two control board and make sure they are all secure. If everything looks good, then the interface control board will need to be ordered and replaced.
Here is a link to the part.

Flashes error code F06

Check the wire harness that goes to all your connectors on the Motor, MCU, and CCU. I have seen a loose wire connector do this F06 error.

If all checks ok, then its a faulty CCU that needs to be replaced. Here is the part.
