Question about Apple iPod nano
Woke up this morning...nano is working fine. I downloaded a movie specifically FOR the iPod...1st movie did fine...2nd one after downloading...now the ipod seems to be frozen....or at least the click wheel is. There is a "lock" symbol at the top of the screen. I restored it TWICE using iTunes....no go. Now not only have I lost everything...but the iPod is STILL locked and the wheel won't work. I have an appointment in 3 days for the Genius Bar at the Apple store...but am looking to see if I can fix it without going in....any suggestions???
Hi, First find whether the Hold switch is in off hold position... ( Hold switch can be found at the botton or on the top of ipod) then try:
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
