SOURCE: WIRING DIAGRAM
The manufacturer normally places a wiring diagram inside the operator console. Remove the back panel and there should be a diagram taped inside. Some of these diagrams will show two circuits. One is for a gas dryer, and one is for an electric dryer. Make sure you reference the correct one. I hope this helps you. If you need further assistance please let me know.

The following link explains the proper wiring scheme for installing a 220VAC power cord to an appliance:
Make sure you also have a dedicated outlet and power source for your dryer. This means a single outlet with a single circuit breaker. Most homes are constructed this way to ensure safe operation of the appliance and to prevent improper loading. If you have questions, please let me know.

check to make sure you dont have a blown fuse or a triped breaker if they are fine if you have a volt meter take the back panel off on the control are or if it is the other kind losen up the two screws in the back of the control area and when you get it lifted up make sure unpluged then put the volt meter on the beep mode when probes touch then put it on the two spots on the swicth and push the button if it beeps it is good if it dont it is bad and that part dont cost too much another thing you should check before you do all that check make sure you have 220 volts on that plug if the switch is good and you have 220 volts it probably the motor or the timer they both or expensive

That's a model "110" followed by a whole series of numbers. The 110 prefix identifies the manufacturer as Whirlpool. You need the rest of the number which is usually located on a nameplate along the door opening. Once you have the model number, any of the following repair sites are excellent sources for parts:
All these sites offer great service with competitive pricing, with the first two offering better exploded view parts illustrations. Shop all of them for the best price.
If you need assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.
