Normal 0 Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: Canon PIXMA ip4500 will not turn on

Sounds like the power outage was a power surge and destroyed your printer, especially if your printer was not plugged into a power surge protector strip. Check with others in your apartment to see if they experienced the same. If so, your landlord may be responsible and can put in a claim. If your printer is still under warranty, contact Canon. Also, check to see if this item is covered by tenant insurance, if you have coverage. Hope this helps.

Pixma ip1600 won't turn on. No power cord just a cord from printer to computer. I unpluged the entire system and waited 15 minutes and it still won't power up. Any suggestions?

You need the power cord which has a polarized plug on one end. The other end (a figure 8 like shape) will fit into the printer. See . Amazon and other sites have replacement power cords for Canon inkjets and inkjet multifunction printers. One source: .

I hope this helps.

My canon Pixma 3000 willnot turn on, Help! I have checked ports and plug ins it just simply stopped working

The internal adapter is dead. If is in warranty, call your canon service, they will send you another new.
If it is not this case, just buy other, it should be cheaper.

Should I turn off my monitor over night?

If you turn off your computer then you should turn off the monitor too to save energy.
You can also leave it on standby which uses less energy but we want to save the planet :)

Can not clear memory in my canon MX850

First thing I would try is to reset the device by turning the device off, and waiting a full 20 seconds, then attempting to restart the printer, wait for it to do its full boot up cycle and then try again, if that doesn't work I might e-mail, or call Canon.

Hope this helps,

Canon pixma

This comment is by nait again, and i fixed the problem. the reason why it timed out is because i was using my wireless and the internet cable should be plugged in so that it downloads faster. Now i have mp navigator. when I tried to instal mp navigator though, it said "wrong scan device or something along those lines." I fixed that too by either re-installing the correct driver at the canon website or I unplugged the usb cable from my labtop, turned off the printer ...then replugged it back in and turned the printer back on so that it could properly restart and install the device(i would try this option first). i think that's it.Also make sure download the correct driver version by looking at your computer properties.Hope this helps or if it makes sense.
