Question about Mozilla Thunderbird
The way it's always been... there's been a line above the area where one writes his e-mails, and one of the things in that line, is 'send'. That line disappeared about three days ago, so I can't send messages now.
I suspect the Composition Toolbar is hidden. When you write a message, do you see the Menu Bar (the line with File Edit View)?
If you do, left click View >Toolbars > Composition Bar. A check mark will appear next to this option. Alternatively, right click on the menu bar and then left click on the line for the Composition Bar.
If you do not see the menu bar, press Alt on your keyboard. Then the menu bar will appear. Type V T O to get the check mark on the composition bar.
If you press Ctrl and Return together, you will send the email immediately without needing the Send button. Ctrl + Shift + Return will save the email to send later. Alt + F + d (File > Send Now) will also work. Alt + F + l store the email to send it later.
These steps will work for Windows. I believe you might need different keystrokes with Thunderbird on a Mac or Unix.
I hope this helps.
(I have Thunderbird 17.0; these instructions will work on most versions.)
