Could be the drum rusting or high mineral content in your water supply, try a mixture of CLR "Calcium Lime and Rust remover to dissolve the rust thats in the wash tub in a small wash cycle, then monitor if it comes back.

next is rust holes at the welsh plugs , normally at the back plugs in the block
check under the water pump housing for a small drain hole

Rain water gets trapped inside the two rear doors and takes several days to drain. What problems will this cause and how can I fix it?

There should be a drain hole between the door rubber (seal) and outside edge of the door. These holes are most likely blocked and you need to unblock these with a piece of wire.
If you leave the water in there rust will form in the seam of the door and spread.

How do i locate the condensate drain in my mits galant 2000

For a 2000, it's more likely is that there's rust in the floor under the carpet. There are several drain plugs (approx. 30mm, actually filling manufacturing alignment holes) that often rust out. Fixing it requires that the seat be removed, the carpets lifted up and the rust cleaned / treated. New drain plugs can be made with some 20g steel sheet. They are usually pressed in, but can be glued with automotive gunk adhesive and sealed underside with stone guard spray. If there is real rust in the floor panel, cut out and reweld is required.

WHY DOES WATER POUR ONTO RT FRONT FLOOR DURING HEAVY RAIN?

The drain holes for this area are under the mudguard so I suspect that this is a rust hole that will be expensive to repair.

Water is collecting under fruit and vegetable bins and then leaking out onto kitchen floor.

sounds like a problem with defrost drainage system. would need model #. older GE refs had problem with rust holes in drain trough. how old is it? do you see any rust on back wall of ref? newer refs had problem with drain hole freezing shut and heat probe had to be installed to prevent it from freezing shut.

Water draining into frig

you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you will see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. the reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking down the vent instead of the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck!

Water pools under the crisper drawers and looks as if it is draining from the upper freezer down the side of the refrig door, looks like the little hole under the crisper is clogged with rust?? It is a old...

Mine clogs with a soft fungus mat but rust actually sounds better. I run a stiff wire like an unwound hanger into the hole and open it up so the water will drain onto the tray made to collect this water underneath the fridge. Last time I left the wire in place with a long handle and I haven't had water to mess with for many months now. My hole is between the two crisper drawers and when I get into either of them the wire gets a jiggle and I guess that's all it takes to keep the hole clear so the water can drain like it's supposed to.

Otherwise the fungus builds and builds until it sluffs off as a wad and plugs up the works on a regular basis. Too funky for sure.
