By all inputs I guess you mean also the rear inputs, when using PIP you are using a second tuner in the set===it has a main and the PIP so it would seem unlikely but I will ask------when a DVD player etc is connected to one of the video inputs on the rear of the set what happens?

Yes, you need to replace the convergence output amplifier IC's. They can be ordered on line. After removing the back you must remove the circuit board which houses the amps. Then desolder them and install the replacemnts. If you are extremely lucky there won't be any re-alignment issues with the new amps. Then you should be good to go.

The tv on;y shows a small pip window in color if it is a large picture the picture is in black and white how to fix?

Whatever input video signal you're using, PIP should be in color. What are you using out of your dvd for the second video input source, composite or component? Composite you should always have color, Component, if you have a bad red or blue, and just the green is working, you will get black and white. The green is the luminence signal.

My mitsubishi ws-65311 will not turn on. i ran the error code test and it comes up 2-3

2 THEN 3 BLINK ERROR CODE MEANS PROBLEM in the deflection circuit--either no vertical deflection or no horizontal deflection.

Someone needs to open the set and look for shorts in either of these circuits---not likely you will get it fixed in home unless someone gets very lucky---what we do in this situation where I work is remove the entire light box(it can be removed with everything except the front keyboard assembly.)

Sorry if this is not good news--but it is what that error code suggests.

Image outside of bounds of television.

There should be a format button on the remote you can hit. This should cycle thru all the "formats" that the set can do. 16x9, 4x3, wide mode, Full mode, stretched mode, etc.. Let me know if that helps you.. Happy holidays... Jay

How do you dismantle

It's in the manual in Appendix F.  I bet you can download the manual from the Mitsubishi site.  The problem is that it says that it is supposed to be done by authorized Mitsubishi service personnel.  We have not had any luck finding anyone in our area who is willing to come out and do it although it looks like it would be really easy for someone who knows tvs.

Foot note to issue

If the source to the PIP input is a color signal then the PIP display will be color. PIP sets have two video sources one goes to the main screen while the other goes to the PIP. it all depends on what the format of the signal is being sent to each input. This is quite normal.
