Is your service shop a certified pfaff scervice center? if not take it to one. your part is still available brand new from pfaff.

If he can't find a New one your next best bet is to buy a parts machine. Try ebay.

Thank you, I'm looking for a spare machine, and contacted another repair person who thinks they can find one.

  • sylviaivie Dec 12, 2012

That's good news. There is another guy online where I've inquired about parts for some really old machines I have. Sometimes his prices are reasonable, sometimes not. However, it might be worth a try.http://www.a1sewingmachine.com/parts.htm...

Thank you so much! I am going to wait to hear back from the repair person here in town. If he is unable to find the part within the next couple of weeks I will go to this site.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Pfaff 7570 connection to new XP laptop

In this FAQ list (from PFAFF web) you find 100 times the same question and answer:
H402 My new computer does not have any serial COM ports, so how does it communicate with my Pfaff creative 7570?

You will need to obtain a USB Serial Adapter, which adds a serial port to your computer by plugging it into a USB port. Suitable adapters can be obtained from Belkin [http://www.belkin.com] and Keyspan [http://www.keyspan.com].
The following USB Serial Adapters are known to work with the Pfaff creative 7570:
• Belkin F5U103
• Keyspan USA-19QW
Please note that the Belkin F5U109 is listed as working with the Pfaff creative 2140/2144 (FAQ #H405), but it does not work the Pfaff creative 7570.

SOURCE: 7570 connection

I have Windows Vista; I also had a similar problem; found out that I could only use the usb port on my computer exclusively for sewing as the driver software seems to conflict;
Also, having said that, go to Pfaff.com & download the free driver upgrade and see if that will get you started good luck deb

SOURCE: connect PfaFF Creative 7570 to a PC

The software you need to connect the Pfaff 7570 to the PC and to create your designs is called PC-Designer version 2.2 from Pfaff. You may be able to find a used copy. The software should come with a dongle (special cable) for connecting the machine to the PC. Make sure you have this piece because it will not work with an ordinary cable. Depending on what type of port you have on the PC to connect to, you may also need an adapter since the dongle has an old style connector on the end going to the PC. If you are going to create your own designs, you will also need a storage card which inserts into the machine that you send the designs to. Pfaff makes one, called the creative card. I have also used a generic card meant for the pfaff; the generic card is less expensive and has a greater capacity. You can find many designs online either free or for sale to send from PC to Pfaff as well.

I have a Pfaff 1475 CD that I bought used about 20 years ago. No problems until about a month ago: when I turn on the power, the needle shaft moves back and forth (like it's changing stitch type)

the machine may just need a check up, you can call a repair shop
& ask them how much it costs to service a sewing machine, & tell
them what the machine is doing & then if it costs to much, then you
can start looking for a new machine. but a new machine is always
nice to have & keep the older one as a back up, I have two machine
that way when one is being serviced, I just use the other one.

I am unable to locate my cable cord for my 7570. Where can I get a replacement for it?

Hi, your cable cord on a PFAFF 7570 is a standard portable radio cable cord. Go to any radio or TV repair shop in your area and ask them for a figure 8 power cord.

My Pfaff Creative 1475 won't run. The lights are on but when I push the pedal down it doesn't do anything. Please help

there are 2 things it could be
1.the foot pedal could have gone out
2.the motor,,here's how to tell about the motor,, smell the motor & see if it has a smell to it,,if the motor has a smell like old dirty socks or a burn smell then chances are the motor has gone out

the motor would have to be replaced at a repair shop,, the foot pedal you should be able to do your self

I took my machine to be 'cleaned', and when I get it back the pressure foot has no pressure. I'm in Jacksonville FL and cannot find anyone that repairs Pfaff sewing machines (1473 CD). I need some help!

Independent repair shops will work on any model, it's the parts they have no control of. The good thing is that we have ebay, where most hard to find parts always pop up. All or 95% of sewing machine stores here in Bay Area Ca. sell and service PFAFF, even vintage metal mechanical models.

Go to ebay under PFAFF, you'll be able to find the machine, parts and lost users and factory repair manuals, not to mention all of accessories for it.
