Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Offhand, it would be to your advantage to reference the service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram. To correctly diagnose your current problem, voltage checks at key testpoints must be performed.

Alternately, you can re-check the repair factoring the following:

  • capacitors have polarities. A reversal would cause them to fail as well as spillover the fault to other components;
  • plug-in boards can and may no seat correctly;
  • in most instances, diagnosis/voltage checks should start from the power supply's different output voltages;
  • in most Mitsubishi units, in their power supply section, there are fuses on the various secondary output before the diode.
Pls post back the chassis number as well as a detailed description of the current fault.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Hi!

I think its a convergence circuit problem and you need to replace 2 STK ICs in order to get your TV picture clear and sharp.

    The convergence ICs are mounted on 2 x large aluminium heat sinks with fins on, The ICs will have STK 392 **** stamped on them.

    Thanks

    You need to pull cover back off the Power Board and check the voltages at
    the test points. Meter must be referenced to chasis ground. You need to find
    voltages atTP12V, TP5V, and TP3.3V. I Assume that those should be 0v unless the TV is trying to turn on.

    Also you need to check connections are proper inside . You need to check the continuity of circuit .

    A service manual will be helpful . You can get one from the link below

    Click this link to get service manual

    If you still have problem you need to call technican to check the tv . And it sounds like you need to replace the DM board in tv . It is bit expense to do it .

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Green blinking timer light on my WD 62525 tv

That symptom is almost always caused by bad capacitors that are known to fail through ou the five circuits boards within the chassis. Usually the DM board and The Power Board caps fail which can cause the non stop blinking timer led. You can get the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps with repair instructions that will often repair that issue.
