The F5 E1 error message indicates the latch motor was unable to lock the door. When the self clean cycle is started, the control board will turn on the latch motor which is mounted on the rear of this range. The motor is connected to a cam that transfers the motors motion to a rod that runs under the cook-top. Here is the part to order.

SOURCE: Code e2 f3 appears, oven goes to self clean mode,

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

SOURCE: kenmore gas stove

It sounds like you have some condensation in your gas lines.
The fact that it only does this when preheating kind of reinforces that suspicion.

By the time the oven has reached temperature setting, the bit of moisture has been either blown or baked out of the system.

Steam clouding the window would confirm this or if don't have one, you clould put a shiny pot into the oven and check it for condensation after a few minutes while the popping is taking place.

My Amana self clean oven just completed the clean cycle. Message FSE1 keeps blinking and will not stop, even when I hit cancel. What do I do?

Assuming unit has cooled down, unplug for 5 minutes and then plug back in. If code still flashes and door doesn’t unlock, there’s a problem with latch associated parts, the control board, or wiring between the 2.

The no start on the first try could be low fuel pressure. The check valve in the pump may be letting fuel drain back into the tank, or the pump relay may be bad. The pump gets power from the relay when you turn the key on, then from the oil pressure switch once the engine starts.

F5E1 or FSE1 error code DOOR LOCKED LATCH NOT OPERATING

On this double oven, each door has it's own latch mechanism that consists of a motor, a position switch, and the door switch used to activate the cavity lights. Because the error indicated a latch failure (and the bottom door was locked), Start by cycling the power to the unit. Each time the power is removed and then applied to these ovens, both latches will lock then unlock the doors to ensure they are in the home open position. By doing so, you might be able to get the bottom oven door opened allowing me access to the latch assembly. With the latch removed, I try to begin a clean cycle so you could watch the motor operate and you will probably find that it will start to turn, but never would rotate enough to lock the door. Since the position switch was not actuated at the end of the motor operation, the F5 E1 error was again displayed. Replace the motor assembly

How do I turn off the interior light and keep the back hatch open? We love going to the drive ends but the inside lighte wont turn off...

I do this almost daily, while working on or cleaning cars. Open drivers door, put key in ignition so that the chimes are dinging. Now, look at the latch on the open door, you can see a "U" shaped latch arm, using a screwdriver, pretend its the striker on the post, and push the latch arm back until it clicks twice. The dinging should stop, and the interior light will go off, just as if the door was closed. Now, if the latch on the rear hatch is similar, you should be able to "trick" it the same way.

Before you attempt to close the door(s) or the hatch, pull the handle as if you were opening it. The latch should pop back to it's "open" position. If not use the screwdriver to pull on it while pulling the handle. Do let me know if your now "IN THE DARK"!!

I get an error code on my Whirlpool RF362BXKW range. I have shut down the power to the unit, have cleaned the unit and the error code won't go away. None of the oven cooking options work with the error....

What I did was hit cancel and hit the unlock button. Then I leaned against the door a bit as I hit the lock and hit the self clean and start the lock check dissapeared. I hit lock again and nothing else and it started the cleaning process.
