I have read that weather conditions do affect batteries. If you haven't already done so, might I suggest that you replace or recharge the batteries. Also ensure that you have got the correct batteries as per the camera's user manual.
Failing that, it could well need a visit to the repair shop.

Hope this helps

How to transfer internal memory pictures on a DSCW70

Unlike most brands/ models of cameras, the Sony CyberShot (DSC) cameras feature internal memories, (not enough to hold sufficient data). If you took a few shots before inserting the memory card, the pictures are stored in the internal memory. You can transfer/ delete those pictures by the following steps.
1. switch off the camera,
2 open the battery/ SD card slot cover and remove the SD card.
3. close the cover and switch on
4. press the display/ preview button and your picture should be visible on the screen.

You can now do whatever you want with your picture.

Does this help? Please provide some feed-back if my answers do help.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S930. When I press the button to take a picture, the camera turns itself off. It then can't be turned back on again until the batteries have been removed, then re-installed.

Camera froze probably due to overheating and condensation.Requiring battery to be removed to reset the computer inside. You need service, or put the camera in a dry p;ace and try again much later.

When the camera is exposed to hot temperatures 100 plus the camera will not focus properly the image on the screen jumps and the lens or focus feature inside the camera vibrates you can feel the movement...

There is steady shot mechanism located at end of lens assembly, that mechanism gone bad and vibrates, replacement of that mechanism will fix your camera issue.
Local camera repair shop will do this job as camera will take apart to replace defective part.
Thanks.

My camera froze when i was taking a picture and its just sort of froze the way it is when you take a picture.

Take the batteries out, wait 30 seconds, and put the batteries back in. If that doesn't jog it loose, you may need to talk to Sony Customer Service.

It could be that the battery isn't holding a charge anymore if you are using rechargeable batteries in you camera. Most of them have a short life to them. If you can get a hold of another one, see if that solves that problem.
