SOURCE: after shutting down display buttons remain lit

are you shutting down using the power button? It may be programmed to do another action ( standby or hibernate ).
start menu > control panel > performance/maintenance > power options > advanced tab .

Battery button broke

Well, you might try a jeweler to do the tiny work inside your camera. The other place, besides the Factory, would be a Camera repair place. Look in your local phonebook.

hey, I had the same problem when I accidentally droped my camera, some parts in the mechanism are probably broken or jammed.

Most likely repairs required.

The center button of my ipod nano wont work, but everything else does. Tell me how to fix this.

Unfortunately since this is an apple product, opening it would void the warranty and besides that, parts aren't sold. The sensor/switch for the button is broken most likely and the apple store is the only company that can replace it. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

The camera wont turn on

hi...ensure that the camera is turned on. If applicable, ensure the lens cover has been removed before taking pictures. the LCD backlight is turned on by pressing the DISPLAY button several times until the screen appears. Depending on the camera model, the DISPLAY button may be labeled as DISP or with a display icon. This button could be a standalone button or it depends upon the camera model.....
If operating the camera with a battery, ensure the battery is fully charged.
Ensure the battery is inserted properly in the camera.
If operating the camera with the power adapter, ensure it is plugged into a working AC outlet.
Ensure no Audio/Video (A/V) cables are connected for viewing pictures on a TV; the LCD screen will not display when an A/V cable is connected.
Perform a reset procedure on the camera....
