SOURCE: Model W2607C. Does not power up.

Check the 27 mhz oscillator on the back of the main board. Resolder of replace it. It causes lots of different blinking amber lights.

Check all of the fuses inside. If none are blown, unplug and hold power button for 20 seconds thus resetting all of the capacitors. Plug in and hold power button for 20 seconds thus powering the capacitors up safely. should work

Flashing amber light


Hi, on most Dells a flashing amber light on the power button indicates a problem with the PSU or a short on the main power rail, if this is the case you should have 2 flashing lights as well, 1 & 3.

Dell W2607C LCD TV won't turn on


Check and replace its main power regulator board. It might be faulty. Normally there is no repair to these boards. Card base replacement should be done.

Dell TV has flashing amber light in lower right corner. TV will not power up.

I have a w2607c that doesn't display when I turn it on. I got the Dell screen to appear once. but after that there will be nothing, the power light will just blink Blue. It doesn't turn amber at all. ...


You need to troubleshooting it to narrow down to which board is bad, it can be the power supply board or the backlight inverter baords.

Model W2607C. Does not power up.

Amber Light blinking on power switch


27 mgz oscillator on the back of the main board. Try resoldering it, or replace it.
