Where can I get the scematic for the Veco 21 STC voltage control circuit board?

try mailing the manufacturer

hot transistors are usually shorted out, or driving a short!!

a multimeter across the 3 transistor legs (TO-3 transistors have 2 legs & the case which is the 3rd leg) will reveal if they're dead (remove the transistors first as the circuit may give a false reading) - if you get a zero ohms reading between any of the legs it's dead - don't forget to check the smaller driver transistors too,, as a dead main transistor will kill its smaller driver transistor

speakers are marked,, usually 4 ohms or 8, though sometimes 16 ohms - use a multimeter to ensure you have something very close to these values according to the label on the speaker box & measure from the wires at the point where they connect to the amp

power the unit without any speakers or speaker wires connected,, if the transistors still get hot, you're very likely looking at bad transistors

Lights come on and stay on, screen stays black and no bios

Hi.

First try resetting the laptop by removing battery with computer off and power not connected. Ensure that there is no disk inside the laptop and no connected USB device.

Test the laptop using an external display. There should be a video port at the back or at one side of the laptop. You may need to use a function key or to restart the laptop with the external monitor connected to switch to the external monitor.

If the laptop has picture in the external monitor, then the problem is either the back-light inverter or the LCD display. The inverter is the board that supplies power to the display and it is often located at the base of the display. Inverter is tested disassembling the computer and reading DC in from main board to inverter and AC high voltage out from inverter to back light.

If there is no picture on the external monitor, then the main board is probably faulty. The main board is tested disassembling the laptop and starting with no disks or internal devices connected (apart CPU fan, adapter and display) and replacing the memory sticks with known good ones. If the computer has two memory sticks, it can be tested removing them one at the time.

Testing must be done by a technician.

Regards.

My parrot CK3100 flickers when i turn on the contact...when I turn of the contact it stays flickering and my cars battery dies...

First, you will have to ensure that the install may taking account of the specificities for some vehicles.
(Ex: in some cars, the 12dc red and the 12 ignition orange are inverted.
You can see it when you switch off the ignition key, it should appear good bye).

In that case, the product is still on and then this may explain the trouble.

But it may be also in relation with wires trouble between the box and the screen.

Roof top rv air conditioner installation

Waeco manufacture a rooftop A/C with a matching inverter.you will need to ensure that you have enough battery power when staionary but your al;ternator will provide power when mobile you could also use a small generator through a battery charger to keep your batteriesd charged up but this is not neccessary unless you are stopped for a long period of time.these units are fairly easy to install and come with fitting instructions for the A/C and wiring kits for the inverter..hope this helps
