Get to reboot screen acer aspire laptop how to continue

Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive. Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook. Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load. Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen. Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears. Reboot the netbook when you are prompted. Restore your saved files from the flash drive.

Do the word [reboot] come up on the screen?if so do so.......did you ever back up your computer

i have an acer aspire 3680 laptop when i switch it on the power indicator os on but i cant get past a black screen with a small white line in the top left hand corner please help

Try booting in safe mode.
As soon as the operating starts to boot, very quickly press f8 to enter safe mode. See if it can boot in safe mode.

I think you mean restore to manufacturer Installation? Acer normally carries a e-recovery partition of which you need to press Ctrl+F12 to start it at the boot screen.(Where it says Acer on first turn on.) continuously press it until the recovery screen comes on and follow the instructions.

If your just rebooting the pc because of a shutting down issue where it is taking long to turn off, you might want to run some registry cleaning software or possibly try repairing windows.

Here is the standard Acer Recovery Instructions

1. Power on the machine
2. At the white ACER BIOS screen, hold the “Alt” key and press the “F10” key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery
3. Once eRecovery has loaded, click “Restore to Factory Default Settings”
4. Click “OK” to continue
5. From here, the eRecovery process will update all the data on the C: drive and restore a fully functional factory image (approximately 10 minutes).
6. Once eRecovery has run, press “OK” to reboot unit

Step 1 
Unzip the attached file "crisis.zip" & Copy file name  " zg5ia32.fd " and " Flashit.exe " to one USB flash disk i.e USB Pen drive 

Step 2 
a. Connect the power adapter to laptop 
b. Insert USB flash disk i.e Pen drive to one USB port of As One Laptop 
c. Press keys   Fn + Esc + power button simultaneously 
d. Release the power button key when power button LED glows. 
e. After LED of power button starts flashing release the keys Fn + Esc 
f.  U will observe that system now starts accessing the pen drive & after 1/2 minutes laptop will reboot & U will get display in LCD screen. 

Hit Shift and F11 to do a restore

Contact Acer and they can send you the disk that came with that computer. Then you can run some commands. Let me know when you get the disk.

Have you tried safe mode by hitting the f8 key at start up?

does the laptop boot at all ? or just not logging to windows ?

if not logging to windows then unplug the laptop's battery the replug it and restart

if the problem remains,, try to boot in safe mode by pressing F8 continuously and then choose Safe Mode

if you success in booting in safe mode go to control panel and disable hibernate then try to reboot in normal mode
