I just took my 2011 cub cadet snowblower out of storage. I put sea foam in it before I put it away. It would not start after several attempts so added gas (gas was about 5 months old) to delute the sea foam. After several more attempts now with the electric start I had no success in it even attempting to start. I let it sit for about 30 minutes and tried again and it started. I let it idle on choke for about 5-10 min and it would not idle if I took off the full choke. I let it idle a bit longer and had to operate with full choke for my entire driveway. (It seemed to Have less power). I completed the driveway and then tried again to back off the lchoke but it stalled everytime so I it idle another 10 minutes still having it stall after backing off the choke. It was brand new last season with a very mild winter so this is really disappointing.

Sea Foam is NOT a gas Stabilizer. Your carburetor jet needs to be cleaned.
MAny Carbs are set up tis way, not sure about your CC snowblower. The jet in the Carb is gummed up. Take that 1/2" bolt off the bottom of the Bowl..That IS the Jet. Many times the Bowl will just hold in place with the Bolt out.. make sure the three holes are clear. 2 are close to the head of this bolt and you should have a 3rd real small hole where the threads end. Screw it back in...see what happens

Briggs 23HP sputters under load

sputtering indicates a fuel mixture issue within the carb. try adjusting the carb. once you get the problem cured, might try adding fuel conditioner such as SEA-FOAM available at most automotive parts houses.

I have a 21" Personal

Your battery probably did not survive the storage period and now will not accept or hold a charge. Off hand I would say that you need to replace the battery for now, and when the mower is put into storage again, charge the battery from time to time.
