Hah, hah. That is what happens when you upgrade unnecessarily to an operating system for which you do not have the correct driver.

Unless HP provides a driver u are out of luck - they prefer that you buy a new scanner from them, of course!

If battery is good, the alternator is overcharging(like your average auto-mechanic,hah!!!)
Voltage reulator is probably on the alternator,so alternator is needing replaced. don-ohio

Hah, yeah I remember having that too when I first got my printer and I thought my printer was broken but it's actually something really simple. Right next to the slot where the paper goes in there's a little thing that you can move. Try moving it so it just touches the side of the paper. It's basically indended for if you want to use different formats of paper but the standard size isn't set to A4.
I hope I explained that clearly enough, if you don't know what exactly I mean let me know and I'll try explaining it better.

hah im sorry to say this but it is a case of poor design to find the battery you must strip the computer down a bit the battery is located under the keyboard and palm rest on the mother board. the battery is flat and is in a round socket it shouldn't be hard to spot it once your there, here's an image of what it should look like http://blackman.amicofigo.com/gallery/index.php/Arduino/i2c-Items/rtc-battery .

my left one comes on but my right one doesnt hah hah its a small world..pluck off the plastic cover maybe a loose or pinched wire electricals are annoying to fix

just put the dvd in start the console and the dvd should play automaticly. use the O button on the ps2 controller to open your dvd menu

Hah hah.. You are about to track down firmware for it and flash it, right? Bad idea! Instead, put a hook end on the end of a safety pin, gently get into the earphone jack, and coax the contact springs back to where they seat well against the earphone plug..

BTW.. this fix works with real ipods too
