What is the complete model number of the unit?

I actually have the instruction manuel and on the bottom right corner of the front page it has these numbers: 8112P124-60. It says magic Chef on the oven but the manuel on the back page says Maytag. I have looked all over the oven inside and out and see no plate that would specify the model or serial number. Odd. Unit has a red digital clock on the upper left side of the unit and the temperature knob on the right side. One day the clock went out along with the use of the oven. Checked breakers and all were good. Of course, none of them are labeled but they do show that they are all "on" Haven't messed with them at all. This house was built in 1969. The breakers are push in for "on" push in again for "off". This house is my neighbors. Anyway, then one day the clock was lite up and the oven worked fine for many months. After thanksgiving and me cookin a 20 lb bird , I took out the turkey, closed the oven door, and the clock went out! Oven stopped working again. Tried slamming the door(s) on the oven many time thinking that may help but sadly nothin! Gonna replace it in a few months but would love to be able to get it to work before then. Gas wall oven in case i didnt mention. Thanks

Look inside the door area for the model number. I am not getting anything on the number you posted. Thanks!

I know you are gonna find this hard to believe, but there is nothing. I have done minor work on electric oven, washing machine and dryers in my house. This one has me stumped. Looked inside and took out the oven bottom and the broiler bottom. of ovens. Saw gas line coming in and a couple of wires, red and white coming maybe from electric starter and they go off somewhere. Dont see a plug or anything like one. Could be hard wired. Thanks, Richard.

SOURCE: We were given an electric smooth top kenmore

The electronic timer/clock must be working and be in manual mode for the oven to work. Try turning the power off and on and see if it resets. If is doesn't you might need a new timer unit. If you don't need the timer and clock it can be easily by-passed at the rear by joining the active and load wires and the oven will work.

Electrolux icon oven clock has a digit that won't light up.

Hello GIGI, thank you for your post!

From my understanding your Electrolux oven clock will not light up. Typically, if the light has gone out on your control panel you would need to replace it in order to get the light back on. That screen is usually a digital LED and is unable to just be replaced. If you should need assistance in replacing the board I would recommend reaching out to a professional for proper disassembly of your oven. Best of luck! -Matt

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

Oven does not work

Open the control panel to expose the clock/oven control.
With a volt meter verify incoming voltage to the clock control.
Check all wires for good contact.
If it still does not work replace the clock.

Remember to unplug the range to check the wires for good contact.

It appears that the timer has gone faulty, possibly because of a short in the bulb holder, which probably explains why there is no display and the main oven not working. the top will still work as it is not controlled by the timer.
the solution hear would to be fit a new timer.
