The circuit breaker trips because you have some sort of short circuit. Use a Meter set to OHMS, and try to find the "Short". Check the wiring in the Plug also.

How to wire Lumax Intensifier 3 without cigar plug

It looks fairly straightforward.
Red and Black go to the Positive and negative, (It's best to have the switch on the negative side).

The Lights themselves look like they come in two groups, the Left and Right, controlled by the Orange and Blue wires respectively. Both can be added together to the Red connection if a switch will be used to turn them on and off (Using the negative side), otherwise, another switch is necessary or the one you have must be used between the positive connection and/or positive leads to controll this positive signal input.

The yellow, (and white if included) are not necessary.
The Green one just brightens the lights, (like the brake light over the flashers, is brighter).

Notes:
- LED lights only work when hooked up with the positive and negative in the correct order. A LED (Light Emmitting Diode) will not light up if hooked up backwards.

- Generally, the positive and negative (red and black) will be connected to the power source all the time, and the signal wires, Blue and Orange will be intermittently hooked up to the positive (red), to switch on the lights using an internal transistor switch, but the same can be achieved if the positive and the signal wires are attached to the positive together, then either the negative or positive attachement to the cars power is switched using the switch you already have..

-Do not connect the lights in series with the other lights; connect all the positives, (and signal wires) to the positive, and the negative wires to the negative source. The fuses will only handle the system they were designed for.

2 flashes wont light

SOUNDS LIKE A PRESSURE SWITCH MALFUNCTION OR A OBSTRUCTED FLUE EXHAUST. 2 FLASHES MEANS YOU ARE IN SYSTEM LOCKOUT. ATTEMPT TO START 3 TIMES THEN IN LOCKOUT MODE RIGHT? YOU WILL NEED TO TURN OFF AT T-STAT OR BREAKER TO RE-SET UNIT, OR WAIT 60 MINUTES & IT WILL DO IT AUTOMATICALLY. WHEN IT CALLS FOR HEAT THE DRAFT INDUCER MOTOR WILL COME ON, THIS WILL CREATE A VACCUM THAT OPENS THE PRESSURE SWITCH PROVING DRAFT INDUCER IS VENTING, THE VACCUM CREATED CAUSES THE PRESSURE SWITCH TO OPEN PROVIDING POWER TO THE IGNITION CONTROL. THIS IS WHERE YOUR PROBLEM IS ACCORDING TO YOUR DISCRIPTION. TRY TO DISCONNECT VACCUM LINE FROM DRAFT INDUCER MOTOR & SUCK ON IT WHILE LISTENING FOR A CLICKING SOUND AT PRESSURE SWITCH. IF YOU DON\'T HEAR THE CLICKING SOUND WHEN YOU DO THIS, THEN YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE PRESSURE SWITCH. IF YOU DO HEAR THE CLICKING SOUND THE PROBLEM IS WITH AN OBSTRUCTION IN THE FLUE VENTING. THIS IS SOMETIMES CAUSED BY DEBRIS GETTING LODGED IN THE PORT AT INDUCER MOTOR WHERE THE VACCUM LINE FROM PRESSURE SWITCH IS CONNECTED. TRY TO CLEAR OBSTRUCTION WITH COMPRESSED AIR OR A WIRE HANGER. THIS SHOULD FIX YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL.

Led's only work one way, so it does'nt matter what colours they are. The led's that they connect to will only work when the plug is the correct way. You wont do any harm if they are wrong, you just turn them round. Plug them in one way and if the led for the hard drive does'nt come on then it's the other way. Same with the power light. The power switch when pressed just makes a momentary connection across 2 pins, so it does'nt matter which way, it's just like touching the pins quickly with a piece of metal.

I am going to be fitting a new motherboard, and I am worried about fitting in the power and the wires? Any advice??

There are only a few things that must be carefully observed when changing out motherboards. The first is to ensure that the mounting lugs match up with the mounting holes on the new board. Remove any that don't, otherwise they may short out the motherboard. The new motherboard will come with a book that will show the external connections that must be made from the case to the motherboard. Most cases have labeled plugs that will correspond to the information in the manual. There are two plugs that can be confused - Power Switch and Power LED. Power switch is used to turn on the machine, Power LED goes to the green light on the front of the case. Alos, the HDD LED and Power LED connections are polarized, meaning they have a + and a - wire. The Power LED wires on most cases will be green and white with the green wire being the +. The HDD wires on most cases will be Red and White with the Red being the +. If you get them reversed, it will not harm the machine, but the LED will not work and you will have to turn the plug around. The plugs for the power switch, reset switch and speaker (optional) are not position dependent and cannot be installed backwards. The large power connector to the motherboard is keyed and cannot be installed backward. They can, however be very difficult to connect fully and may required forceful pressure to seat. If this is the case, place something firm, but non-conductive under the edge of the motherboard below the socket to prevent cracking the motherboard. Also, while this may seem silly, some people accidentally do it, so I'll say it here, do NOT have the power supply plugged in when making any connections to the motherboard or when installing or removing any expansion cards.

Front panel connection to mother board Power switch pin

Hi careyfraser,

1. There are 8 wires from the front panel's casing, excluding USB connectors and front audio cable.

2. Just plug the front panel switch headers to the F_Panel main board connectors. 1 & 2 are positive, if the led do not light change polarity but Im sure it will.

Note:The mainboard provides a front panel connector for electrical connection to the front panel switches and LEDs. JFP1 is compliant with IntelĀ® Front Panel I/O Connectivity Design Guide.

Hopefully this information helps.

Hi i am matt

If the protection LED lights only after the remote voltage is applied (head unit is switched on), the amplifier likely has shorted output transistors. If the protection LED remains lit without remote voltage applied, the amp may have other problems.

Does the protection LED light with no speaker wires connected to the amp and no RCAs plugged into the amp?
