SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

This shaver model was very popular back in the 1990's. They aren't meant to last more than 10 years with regular use. They can be reconditioned, as replacement parts are available, but it's probably not worth the trouble. You've put your shaver to good use--it's time for a new one. You can offer up your shaver on eBay for parts as-is and actually make a little $$ (some people can make use of the parts, for those who repair these things). I'd recommend getting an 8000 series model. They are very well made and still quite a lot cheaper than the 9000 (Pulsonic) series.

SOURCE: My ES762 will not take a charge. Left it charging

It is the batteries that have degraded and are no longer capable of taking or holding a charge. The charger is probably still fine, as they rarely fail other than having the cord damaged.

If you have the ability to take apart the shaver and can desolder and resolder the batteries back into it, you can save yourself quite a bit of change. The whole process (DIY) should only take about 30 minutes or less, so the short answer is "Yes" it's worth fixing or having fixed.

Replacement batteries are probably going to run you between $9 and $14 versus the cost to replace the whole shaver.

Even if you can't do the repair, it is still likely to be less expensive to have the shaver repaired. If you want to have a repair done for you, and you're in the US or Canada (can't tell with the Fixya site where people are located!?!), try Electric Shaver Service in Lincoln, Nebraska. 1-888-476-1785.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

I've lost my remington bkt2000 charger and can't find a replacement. Any ideas? Are there any others that are interchangeable with this one? I am in UK

You will find a replacement charger available at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

This item is a US version with US prongs and compatible with 120V. They will ship to you in the UK but you will also need a voltage converter to use with your 220V

New Remington MS 280. Unable to charge after the first few shaves

Check the powerr lead in the first instance. If there's no power from the lead it may need to be replaced.

Otherwise there could be a problem with either the control board or the batteries. It's only a recent model so I'm leaning towards the lead.

I have an hp pavilion dv9350ea. Over a couple of years the battery became defective and I installed a new one. It showed 30% charge. I disconnected the charger to discharge the battery before re-charging...

I have to agree that the battery is defective or maybe it is NOT the correct one for your system, although it may be similar.
Did you buy the battery direct from HP a third party?
The AC adapter charger could be defective as well, maybe the defective battery ruined the charger.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.
