Ligth points means white dots? It's probably you have a busted DMD chip, have your technician replace that, better yet buy a new projector because replacing that chip costs almost a brand new unit.

Aficio MP161 Toner bottle doesn't turn to add toner.

How many copies on that machine? The photoconductor unit on that model only goes 45,000 copies. If the machine wont tone up and the pcu is old i would replace it and calibrate to see if the problem goes away. The pcu is cheap for that model. Start there would be my advice.

Hi, someone gave me a Hitachi 50VS69A TV and it doesn't turn on the lamp light flashes. But the power light doesn't even go on?

Have you since the lamp light is on even removed and inspected the lamp to see if shattered or not?

I have a SONY Grand WEGA HDTV 60 inch LCD projection tv and the screen turns black, the power/standby green light(not the lamp) flashes about 38x then screen turns back on and off again every 30 seconds....

It may have a bad lamp--life is 2,000 hours so if it has not been replaced in a long time--some lamps will just before total failure do odd things.

A suggestion if you have not tried it---unplug set for a hour or so and plug it back to see if it will reset and resolve the issue.

Understand these sets have a shutdown feature that if something is wrong USUALLY on the front the red light will blink a specific code of up to ten blinks----

This is an error code and indicates general area of problem---if you do not have that---the set may be blinking as it attempts to fire the lamp up.

A clue that would point to the lamp is before it failed was it a bit darker the last few times it came on?

Check all grounds everywhere

Check alternator output, both voltage & current

At some point you may just want to replace the head
lights or lamps which ever applies,AFTER you solve
the dimming thing

Is the battery really old

What you fail to think could even be considered
worth checking out,usually bites you

Stick to basics & don't assume anything TEST

The patio lamp will not light - have replaced propane tank but gas not getting to ignitor

It's not the ignitor that you need to worry about, it's the pilot assembly (which may need cleaning) or the lamp's gas regulator. But, since you just replaced the tank, let's try something else first.

Turn the gas tank's valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.
Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.
Open the tank's gas valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).
Once the valve is fully open, try lighting the lamp again. IT may take a few clicks of the ignitor, so be patient. If the pilot lights and holds, you've solved the problem. Remember to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If the above didn't solve the r, it may very well be tat the pilot is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Use canned compressed air with a straw nozzle (like you clean your computer with) to blow out the tip of the pilot and any other debris that you see. If that doesn't do the trick, you will need to replace the lamp's Hose/Regulator Assembly, as your is locked up. You can use a grill Hose/Regulator Assembly, which runs about $30.00 at hardware stores & home centers that sell gas grills and accessories.

I hope this helped you troubleshoot & solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Red/green lights both blink and tv will on turn on

Are the red and green lights blinking at the same rate or not? If the green light is blinking every 3 seconds and the red light is blinking every 1/2 second, the lamp door is not properly secured. If both lights are blinking at 1 second intervals, try replacing the lamp. If a new lamp doesn't solve the problem, the TV needs service.

I hope this helps.

96 e 250 4.9 amp light on, radio light dims when head lamp on, have new battery and alternator along with starterd put in last year. radio does go out at times.

Have it all retested, as parts come out the box bad every day. Save time by ruling that out. New doesn't mean good. After that, first check ground integrity between battery and engine/chassis. make sure engine is securely grounded to chassuis. Measure resistance in both battery cables. Check for power at field terminal at alternater. If no power , get wiring diagram and check fuse that feeds field circuit' Betting by this point you will have found the problem. Probably very near the battery connections. If not get back to me and we'll look further. Good Luck!
