I tried pushing buttons on the front console and tried pushing a combination of buttons. But, am afraid nothing happened. I really wish you guys can help me out. I have tried contacting Pioneer but They cannot give me a straight answer. Nor can they tell me where I can purchase a replacement remote control unit. Please help

Is it completely dead?? What do you mean nothing happened? Picture of buttons please.

Hi!.. I mean that I cannot adjust anything. For example, if I wanted to adjust rear speaker levels.. This something that I can't do. I was hoping that pressing a combination of buttons would open up a menu enabling me to make adjustments (Like on my Yamaha). Can you guys help me with purchasing a replacement remote control unit instead?.. Pioneer cannot help me with this inquiry either.. Which, in my view is rather pathetic!.. Pls help guys.. Thanks!!

Usually you can cycle though the settings on the front of your amp, using the jog dial. If not possible contact company for replacement remote. But I can do everything on the front of my receiver. By the number of buttond on this model you should be able to.

SOURCE: Low Audio Level

Are your speakers matched to the unit for ohms and impedance? Check the manual and the rating on your speakers. Unmatched speakers will deliver less power.

No speaker output from Basscube 8s

Yes. Check your connections that you are using from your preamp/processor or receiver to the Basscube to confirm that any adjustments I'll give you instructions for will go to the correct output. There are 2 ways that signal can be connected to the Basscube, your inquiry does not describe which you are using; either speaker level or line level. Line level is the easiest as it uses only one cable so I'll assume that is what you've used.

The following instructions I'll provide you with will presume that you are using a digitally controlled receiver or preamp/processor with an LED or LCD display and remote.

On the preamp/processor or receiver, navigate to your speaker setup menu and adjust the frequency output of any bass management system it may have to a full range signal. This may be a setting labeled for speaker size for example, choose "large." Or, if it has just a crossover setting, increase that to it's highest value.

Then go to the rear panel of your of your Basscube. Adjust the crossover to about 120Hz.

Return to your preamp/processor or receiver. Navigate to your speaker level control on the speaker setup menu. Increase this level to a matching value for each channel until you can hear your Newton speakers.

Using Without WIRED REMOTE

All I could suggest is run the decoder off the line-out of your soundcard, then regardless of what the volume or power setting is to your speakers, the signal will still come through?

AWIA MODEL NO.NSX-MT960

you can try a universal remote controller which supports your device. this is an important issue that the universal controller must have the exact remote code of your device (preprogrammed) because your remote controller is out of duty; therefore, a controller with learning capability won't solve the problem you have.
