You need to check to see if you have power telling the control valve to open usually 24v unless it is something diffrent than a standard furnace

SOURCE: I have a Dayton gas heater Model 3E225

Does the main blower fan kick on? Also, if the heater is vented outside via a flue pipe, there may be a small (about 3 or 4 inches in diameter) vent fan that kicks on to ensure the exhaust fumes are evacuated through the flue pipe. If there's a problem with that fan, the burner won't light either.

Glo warm ventless heater will not stay lit more than a few seconds burner not pilot lite

this happens yearly..usually it is the thermos couple needs cleaning..this year the pilot orfice itself was dirty and throwing a weak orange flame that was not even touching the thermo couple..I just gave the orfice a good cleaning and now the flame reached out as a long BLUE flame touching the thermo couple and it stayed lit on the first try

The oilot lite keep going out

Check to see if the pilot lite is going past the pin- (flame sensor) if not then your flame is too low , Clean the pilot oriffice or use air and blow out the system for dust.

I push in pilot switch, hit ignite and pilot will burn, but will not stay lite when let go after several minutes

Three likely possisilities - one is insufficient gas pressure, another is a plugged pilot gas line and the other is that the thermocouple is defective. There are other possible problems, of course, but these are the most likely.
