Start and maybe finish by locating the main fuse the power cord goes to and see if its good or bad.

I need a manual for a Sanyo TV DS25500, chassis 25500-2

I found that ManualsLib has a manual for the Sanyo DS25500 here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Sanyo-Ds25500-346111.html . The chassis number is not given in this documentation.

I hope this manual will help you with the TV.

Power Issues with Sanyo DP50749

Main board is most likely but that is an educated guess--problem with all these is you can only check so many things and then have to guess and try a board.

I have a Sanyo CE32WP5B television and nothing happens when I switch on the set, would this just mean the fuse near the on/off switch has blown?

That sounds like you have a power supply fault.
If the mains fuse has blown on the chassis, check the Switch Mode Chopper Transistor and dry joints around the transformers.
Be careful replacing the chassis in the case as the join gives problems!
Hope this helps.

Sanyo DP52449, tv getting power but no display

When DP52449 (chassis 01 - that is important!) does not power on and the front LED flashes every 15-20 seconds you have a faulty main board, which you need to replace or get serviced.

We presently do not offer replacement boards, but we do offer repair services for them at
http://www.coppelltvrepair.com/p/59/sanyo-dp52449-p52449-01-main-board-n7ke-repair-service

You may also be curious to read the article we wrote back in July 2012 on a problem that sounds exactly like yours and which lead to the service offerring:
