Question about Samsung YP-U6AB U6 4GB MP3 with FM Radio and USB Slide - Black
I have a YP-U6, and it was working fine for a few months since I bought it. But just today, I plugged it in the USB slot just like any other time, only to find that it wasn't recognized as a USB drive. No popups, no F:drive, no anything. Any idea how this happened? My friend recently had the same issue as well, please help me out here.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Use the Samsung Firmware Updater to fix it. Mine did what all of you are speaking about. I was ready to toss it then I tried the firmware updater on the CD and it fixed it. You must copy all the files from the \setup\Programs\ and \setup\Binary\ folders on the Samsung CD to a folder on your hard drive. Then connect the player via USB and run stupdaterapp.exe. It will search for the device and pop up a menu. Check the Format Data Are box and click start. It takes a few minutes and wipes the device clean but it fixed mine.
