SOURCE: Haier Dishwasher hdp18pa - Power reset

Are you blowing a fuse or throwing a breaker? Either way there is a chance that no outlet you have chosen to test with yet is on a circuit with sufficient amperage-I had this with a microwave I recently had installed. If you have the manual, check for requirements regarding amperage. You then need to be sure you are using an outlet with amperage comparable to the requirements-this is on your fuse or breaker. If your requirement is, say, 20 amps, a 15-amp or less breaker or fuse is going to fail. I had to go to a 'clean' circuit from my garage with nothing on it to find out I did not have enough amps in my circuit. My solution was a dedicated breaker. Another option is to use my second option (which I did not need), to plug it into a gas generator with sufficient wattage/amperage. This ensures nothing else is on the circuit.

Failing all that, it could be the power supply for the washer, a circuit board issue, etc. Don't mess around if you don't understand electricity, though-it's not worth frying yourself.

Finally, if it worked ok before and this has just begun to happen, I'd tend to think it's an issue with the washer itself. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: haier dishwasher

I useto have same problem. For some reason there was water under machine, then i tilted machine, clean water and problem solved. This is built-in dishwasher that is why water acumulates under machine and "leak cut off switch" turn off machine. You can't reset machine while you have water under, machine telling you there is a problem, but Haier wan't put solution on their site - Haier suport is very bad. Sorry for English and hope this help.

SOURCE: Haier dishwasher wont run and shows a code OP

The code "OP" means the door is open. I would suspect you have a faulty latch. The dishwasher thinks the door is open and will not start the cycle.

Haier dishwasher did not pump out

I had problem like day the washer stopped, still half-full of water. Then, we tried to run again and we could hear the little engine working but it wouldn't let water in OR out, just error beaps.
Then my boyfriend took off the back and gently tapped the water inlet valve solenoid with his screwdriver, and now it works! Starting FILLING actually, not draining, but completed a full cycle finally!
Must have shaken loose a blockage in the mechanics in that solenoid, probably have to replace before long. But for now, success!
Here is a website that helps:

It will not start. The buttons at the top usually turn green to the touch and then it automatically starts. If I didn't know better I would swear it wasn't plugged in. I already checked the fuse...

There are several situations that could cause a dishwasher to fail to run. You can troubleshoot your way through the most common of these situations using manufacturer-approved troubleshooting steps. This troubleshooting approach prevents unnecessary repair visits, saving you money. dishwashers will not run without power, water or correct setup. Troubleshooting your dishwasher will take about 10 minutes. The exact location of buttons and parts will vary depending on your model of dishwasher.

Confirm that the door is closed and latched. dishwashers can detect if the door is open and will cancel any cleaning cycles to prevent water spillage. Wait for around 20 minutes before unplugging or moving the dishwasher in case the washer is cooling down, draining or drying dishes. Call a technician if the dryer does not restart.

Verify that a cycle has been selected using the "Cycles" button and that the "Start/Resume" button has been pressed. Unlike some models of dishwasher, appliances won't start until you select a cleaning cycle and press the "Start/Resume" button.

Confirm that the dishwasher's electrical outlet is switched on, if necessary, and that power is being supplied by plugging in a lamp. You may need to replace a fuse or reset a breaker on the electrical circuit if the lamp will not work in the outlet. Ensure that the dishwasher is plugged into the outlet.

Ensure that the water shutoff valves at the wall are open and that the supply hoses are free of kinks. Your washer will not start if it is unable to access the water supply. Most shutoff valves need to be turned clockwise or moved to the "Open" position to work properly.

Open the door and check the overfill float in the bottom of the dishwasher. Push it down to make sure it can move up and down freely. The machine will not start if the sensor is stuck at the top. The overfill float looks like a small cone on top of a disc with a paddle attached to the side.

Wash cycle stopped with water in the bottom. Seems like there is no power. Can't get lights on cycles buttons to turn on. Power button does nothing. Checked circuit breakers. All are on. Lights and outlets...

Check the wiring in the units junction box. Its located at the bottom right corner. You will likely find melted connectors. If so, you need to cut the wires back and replace these connectors. Make sure you turn the power off before doing any of this work of course. Good Luck.
