How to I get FIOS to work with my GPX TE1982B

I Unhooked my old TV to my FIOS and put the Red, White and Yellow plugs into my new GPX TE1982B, Turned it to Channel 3, Made sure input was TV, set for Cable...but can not get anything except a blue screen and a box that says scan for channels...in which Verizon has told me not to do, they also tried to get my remote to work, but they said they do not have a code, and the steps they used for TV's without Codes does not work either? HELP??!!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: source code for a gpx tv

My only suggestion is to look up GPX on some remote control code sites. I have not heard of GPX as a brand name but I bet it has a parent company that is more recognizable. Most remotes have an option to them to do a manual search which makes you go through all known codes to find it.

How to connect the fios

You can use a coaxial cable direct from the fios router to the TV. If you have a cable box converter then you can use S Video cables Red White and yellow, low quality, or component cables Red green and blue but you will also neeed audio which would be a red and white pair so 5 cables in total, better quality and finally an HDMI cable just one connection but high quality. The last is the most expensive and make sure to get the right length to reach the TV from the converter box

ok so what you need to do is put the cable from your cable provider/ antenna (or what ever you use)to the combo players CABLE IN connection.. then color match of the red yellow and white cables from the OUT on the combo to the IN on the TV your tv has to be set on AUX sometimes called L1 or L2 depending on your tv and which set of red yellow and white holes on the tv you use... your combo will also probably need to be turned on.. try that should work!

How do i connect my GPX dvd player to my hd tv? I have Direct TV also.

I also have a GPS DVD Player and Direct TV. On the back of the TV there are slots for AV1 and AV2, I chose AV1. The yellow cable is your video. When placing the YELLOW in the video I noticed the pic was Black and White. After changing it to the slot marked Video Y the color came back. The white and red are audio. I put the WHITE in Audio L and the RED next to it in Audio Pr. Granted I am using a Phillips TV but the concept is the same. Hope this helps. If you don't have sound, switch the position of the Audio (red and white) cables.
