SOURCE: I have an Allis -Chalmers 416 tractor with mower

There are 2 holes at the front on the frame you need to put a pin and cotter pin through each side to hold the front of the mower. Then there will be a hangin piece of straight metal about 2-3 inches long with a hole in it that you need to hook up the chain to also with a pin with a hole in it and a cotter pin. This will allow you to raise and lower the deck with the electric lift. If you need pics let me know i'd be happy to help. That's all there is to it besides putting the belt on.

Hi Jason:
I'd try to locate the nearest antique farm equipment club and see if I could connect with someone who had a manual that I could either buy or copy.
Here's a link that will perhaps assist in getting you started.

The hydraulic pump does not shut off and the lift arms will not go down on my d19 allis chalmers tractor.

Sounds like you have a hydraulic flow valve problem. Check the lift arms when the pump is running to see if you have any hydraulic fluid leaking there.
