No audio output after reinstalling windows xp sp2

Without knowing ur brand of computer i would have to assume that u did a clean install. Go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers for ur brand of computer. Once u install all of the basic drivers, everything should be as good as new.

XP Home Edition crashes while in standby - blue screen error

Sounds like a bad file . I would consider reinstalling windows. When it starts up, for a new install, it will find your existing OS and ask it you want it repaired, say yes then it wil repair it and leave al you data as is.

Windows xp home edition reinstall

If you use his disk, that will be better, because if it is original HP disk, it should install all original drivers at all, however this may delete all files on the computer depending on the type of installation you do.

Installing an older version of XP home does not make a big difference , as windows will update the system using automatic updates. What must be done, is ensuring that all proper drivers are installed.

Check device manager, in control panel/system, and see if all devices are installed with proper drivers.

AMD SEMPRON COMPUTER WITH WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION USED TO PLAY SOUNDS BUT NOW KEEP GETTING AN ERROR 39 IN ALL AUDIO SETTINGS

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)Recommended resolution

Reasons for this error include a driver that is not present; a binary file that is corrupted; a file I/O problem, or a driver that references an entry point in another binary file that could not be loaded.

Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
