SOURCE: Throttle is operating servo on

It sounds like you just got it. Be sure your battery is fully charged. Its probably a "Lipo / ?". They put out very high current but drain quickly. On the larger copters, some functions will work partially or stop completely before other functions when they are low on charge. If its RTF out of the box and you just got, give the battery at least a 3 hour charge and try it again. If that doesn't work then, I would take it back for a replacement. If its not new and we need to trouble shoot, I have a lot of writing to look forward to. I fly an AH-64 attack chopper and a dual tower sky crane. I just finished repairing my crashed sky crane this morning. No more plastic for me. Let me know when you are ready. Today or whenever. We will get it done. Also. you will need a volt meter, small diameter Philips screw driver and a logic probe would be easiest to use if we need to check any PC boards. Good luck with the battery! I'm here if not. Roger

SOURCE: I have a Phoenix 60

Your remote control system works by comparing a digital signal received from the remote with the one generated by the sensors on the control motors, Since the motors still move somewhat it means that the remote still sends the signal and the problem is in the receiver: either the voltage is too low to allow the processsor of the receiver to function properly (measure the voltage on the battery with the receiver working) or the receiver itself has failed - measure the output on the motors to confirm that with a command present (move the stick while measuring).

Have trex 450 v2 , with hobby wing ESC , two rudder servo burn up under two different transmit

have you got a digital or analogue servo in the tail. You have to select what type you are using on the gyro. If you use an analogue one and switch the gyro to digital, that will fry the servo for sure, iv'e burnt a hole in a servo case before. ( slap own face )

Esc won't respond to remote on my e-max

the ESC does not respond to the transmitter. The receiver responds to the transmitter. If the receiver channels are working (swap the steering servo between the two slots). If OK then the ESC is bad if not OK then the receiver is bad.

When i start my tmaxx it tries to take off by itself wide open i cant stop it just keeps going

Assuming the transmitter is still set correctly then the problem is either your receiver is defective or your throttle servo is defective and/or both. Don't start the engine but switch the servo wires. If the switched servo now doesn't work then your receiver is bad, if it does work then the other servo is bad. Good luck

It appears the steering locked up. What do I do?

Make sure that no debris (stones, sticks, etc.) have gotten jammed in tie rods or steering servo. Check to see if servo is trying to move, you should be able to hear it when you turn the wheel on the transmitter. If the servo is not working at all, it could be faulty, came disconnected at the receiver, or receiver pack has too low of voltage. If the servo is trying to turn, check the servo saver to make sure it has not loosened or has been damaged.

How do you change the throttle servo on a revo 3.3

Disconnect the servo at the receiver, remove the servo horn and linkage from the servo. Remove the four screws that hold the servo to the chassis. Replace with new servo, plug new servo into receiver and turn on transmitter and receiver. With transmitter and receiver on reattach servo horn and linkage. This will make sure that the servo is centered at neutral throttle.

Crashed blade 400 repaired it unsure of servo settings helicopter tilts forward and tends to spin around

Try setting gain on Gyro (use small plastic screwdriver) to a straight up and down position.

Set Gyro setting in Transmitter to 75%. NOTE: before turning on helicopter, be sure to center all adjustments on transmitter

Side switch on GYRO to DS and make sure the servo is moving in correct direction. If not. reverse direction with switch on side of Gyro. You may need to reverse the controller of Rudder in settings on transmitter.

This worked for me on my Blade and using the same Gyro on a self build 450 heli.

Good luck!
