How do I delete previous recording on my recorder

I do not have the instructions that came with my recorder and I can't figure out how to delete all the previous messages. Is there somewhere I can go to get new instructions?

Press the 'erase' button until the word 'delete' appears. Then press AND HOLD the 'erase' button one more time until the 'delete' word dissappears. That should do it...

I accidentally erased some files on one folder, then recorded over them. Is it possible to recover them? How? Thank you.

You should connect your recorder to PC and then you can try to recover your files and folders with Easy Drive Data Recovery software:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyDriveDataRecovery/

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

How to erase tapes

In reading the pamphlet that came with mine, I noticed that it says that when a recording is made , the previous recording is automatically erased. I guess you can only erase it by recording over it, which is stupid.....I can't believe they didn't put an erase button on it!
