Plug it into your computer via USB cable, open file(s), right-click with your mouse on the one(s) you want to delete, one the dropdown menu, go down to the word delete and left-click your mouse. POOF, recording gone.
Display the folder o message in the folder that you want to erase.
Press Menu and select Erase by using up arrow down arrow and then press play stop button, the cursor moves to erase menu.
Press up arrow down arrows to select erases all the messages or message in a folder.
Press up or down arrow to confirm say yes and press play
Press stop to exit.
Press Menu to select the folder you want to erase from. Press |>> or <<| (next or previous) to select which recording to erase. Press ERASE once. The bottom display should read DELETE. Hold down the ERASE button to confirm the erasure, and the file is erased.
In reading the pamphlet that came with mine, I noticed that it says that when a recording is made , the previous recording is automatically erased. I guess you can only erase it by recording over it, which is stupid.....I can't believe they didn't put an erase button on it!
