SOURCE: BOSCH WASHER REPLACEMENT PART
I have the same problem. Bosch no longer stocks the replacement for my particular washer which has the same model no but could be a different fd #. I now have the wrong part as directed by bosch which doesnt have the hose connection. I am not sure what to do with the hose leading to nowhere. Bosch is living off of an undeserved good reputation.
In the present, the reputation is not deserved. Bosch products should only be recommended to enemies. The company and the especially the customer service is beyond deplorable. I hate these appliances. I feel ripped off! The part by the way, which is wrong, is 100.00 with tax.

SOURCE: I had to replace the
Welcome to FixYa.
The first thought which comes to mind reading your post and replies, specifically this...
" I am connecting the fascia panel back to the control panel and I have something attached incorrectly as the display read out when I turn the dial is 180 degrees off "
...are you sure you don't have the program dial 180 degrees off it's proper position ?
That is a common and honest occurrence when replacing these controls because they can fit on both ways...in fact I've done it on occasion if I'm not paying close attention, and I've done plenty.
Be sure this dial shown is at the 12 o'clock position when fastening the control to the panel...
Let me know if you think this is a real possibility and I can try and help you move forward from here.
I'll watch for your reply.
