Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Printer

First pull down the paper out tray and open the cartridge cover.

Then I would advise unplugging the printer to minimise risk of getting your fingers caught in the workings. This should leave you free to move the carriage or anything else obstructing it and get the cartridge free.

I put in new ink cartidges and a coil fell out and now it says i have an obstruction

If you are physically able and willing, carefully lift your printer upside down so that the coil that accidentally fell into the printer will freely fall out of it.

There is a foreign object in my printer and I cannot access the area it has fallen in to. It fell through the Rear Paper Tray and is now somewhere above the Cassete Paper Feed area. How can I get access to...

A crude method but works sometimes is to lift the printer shake it ans then turn it up and down and side ways. May be the foreign object gets displaced/dislodged and then it can drop out from any of the openings when you are shaking it or turning it up down. Otherwise I will not advise you to open the printer yourself. Please have it checked and serviced by a company technician.

Ip2600 will not load blank paper

Turn it upside down and shake. A small oyster cracker may have lodged in the feed slot causing the problem. At least that's what fell out of mine and now it works....

Paper jams galore!!!

Every time I see that it's just something that fell into the back slot. Sometimes screws, candy wrappers, pens, push pins. That printer just doesn't do that without something falling in. One person shook it upside down and a BIC pen fell out. Check inside the back before you pay expensive repairs. I charge $69.00 to remove whatever is in there.

The paper will not feed on the left side

Every time I see these I find pens, candy, clips, other objects have fallen down the back where the paper goes. One lady picked up her printer, turned it upside down and shook it and a bic pen fell out, It worked fine after that.

Canon ip 2600 printer. Paper does not feed

Hey I had the same problem. Called the company; we couldn't fix it. Well I turned it upside down and a 2" flower stem fell out from when I cut some flowers next to my desk. It still didn't work. I was examining the feed area while it was running and I found another little piece of stem that was lodged way in there. I had to get it out with tweasers and it turned out to be 1" long. Couldn't really see it at all. Works fine now.

Paper feeds down one side

Lol, I have a discovery. I tipped the printer upside down and low and behold - My missing ruler fell out. Put your hand (when the printer is off and so is the PC) down the slot where you put the paper, take a look and feel if something is in there that shouldn't be. I took the ruler out and it works like magic again.

My regards and goodluck
