Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Monitor goes blank after showing XP logo screen (black screen with the xp logo right after boot up screens)

There are different reasons why this might happen. Let's try some. 1.) Does your board have an onboard video card, cause if it does, then XP might be using that as the primary monitor. TRy plugging into the onboard video when you start up! If that works then you need to disable the onboard video.(try disabling it in bios!) if not then 2.)When booting at the select xp or recovery console, press F8. You'll get the menu with safe mode and what not. Go down to Enable VGA Mode then press enter. If that works, go to display settings and lower your resolution then restart. But usually when this happens your monitor says "Out of Range" but u can still try Well if that doesn't work, tell me more! Regards, Armando

sir good day i had the same problem and what i did is i press f8 again and again upon start up until the options shows you might try selecting last known better configuration, or go to safe mode, and run a restore point of your liking date, if this two didnt work another thing you could do is put your operating system disk and reinstall it or repair it.. i hope this helps thank you and fixya..

My gx60 isn't bootin up..it says loading project..how do I fix this

From your photo, it looks like windows XP has fully loaded. I would assume the "Loading Project" is from a program, not windows. I would boot up in safe mode and try to do a system restore to when your computer was working. Here's how to boot up in safe mode:
* Press F8 key repeatedly while booting up, right before windows begins to load up. Black screen with white letters usually.
* You should get a few options. Select boot in safe mode with networking.
* once XP loads, Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question /exclamation mark ? ! or a red X right click to update driver

you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd restart your computer then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard

if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer
Close all open programs

Click on Start, Run, and type regedit and press Enter
Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SYSTEM

CurrentControlSet

Control

Class

{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

Upper Filters

Lower Filters

Upper Filters.bak

Lower Filters.bak

If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete

After deleting the keys, close the registry editor
Reboot your computer

Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.
hope this helps you

FORMATTING WITH PEN DRIVE

Your motherboard basically has to compatible with a boot from usb. On power up, press either f1, f2, esc, or delete to bring up the bios. Then slide over to boot options or boot order. Put Boot from USB as your first priority.

I have sony note book model pcg 505x but i can not install windows through a usb port

first you must go in the bios page and enable booting from another devices (in your case usb port) if this type of computer have it enabled in bios page . second after you make this save changes to the bios exit and asure that you do not have any booting operating system in your peripherials (like hdd or cd-rom) till is coming usb port turn to boot, and vooila you are able to boot from usb port (if you have usb bootin driver or pen or else like this)
if your pc model bios dont have booting from another devices (or usb writen directly) sorry you are not able to boot from usb port. try to make a cd or dvd version and booting from cd or dvd device.

Slow boot up. ACER

TRY TO REUPDATE UR BIOS, U COULD HAVE SUSTAIN SOME INTERNAL DAMAGE FORM THE SURGE. WHEN A COMPUTER BOOTS UP IT READS INTERNAL INSTRUCTION PROGRAM IN THE RANDOM OPERATING MEMORY. THIS FIRMWARE COULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGE AS WELL. IF POSSIBLE TRY BOOTIN FROM A DISK TO SEE IF THE BOOT TIME IS THE SAME WHN THE COMPUTER GETS THE INSTRUCTION FROM ANOTHER SOURCE
