Tricity Bendix Master
Re: tricity bedix spin query
First of all make sure you have selected the correct spin speed if there is more than one setting.
Check and make sure prog 4 is mot a delicate wash prog, as it will spin at a lower speed if this is the case.
If it has a filter, locate it and remove to clean.

Hi, mine is the same - it will literally go on forever and it wont seem to ever 'finish' like it wont drain properly either - is it the 800 model? quite and old machine with a button you push in and twist to select the cycle and pull out to turn it on? its just awful it wont give an indication whether its completed any cycle! did you get yours fixed?
This is relating to the 2006 model. The times are not printed in most manuals like they used to but on this machine most probably the quickest prog. would be( 4 ) this is 3 rinses and a long spin at 40 deg. If you are experiencing long times on your washes do check that your water pressure is good as that will shorten the duration of all cycles and save on electric.
Hi, Your problem is very common and very easy to fix. You will first need to strip the machine down and remove the motor. Once you have done this then take off the motor carbon brushes, These are the little things in cases on the side of the motor casing. These should be at least 1" long! you will find that this is not the case and they will need replacing to resolve your problem. The parts should not cost anymore than around £20 for the pair.
Good luck any problems get beck to me............................
This may sound crazy. If your machine looks to be spinning out and draining fine it may be you (NO DISRESPECT INTENDED). I see this alot. Try cutting back to about a tablespoon of "HE' soap. Before doing this run some vinegar thru the wash cycle to clean out the machine.
we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.
