SOURCE: I have a pump that will not pump higher that 40

The Goulds J5S pump is only rated for 40 psi. Is it possible that is the correct operating pressure? Did you get a higher reading in the past?

SOURCE: Goulds pump model BGR75 won't reset. Any tips.

If the motor runs but keeps tripping the overload, the motor is bad or the motor is under a big load. Does it pump water? If not, check the impeller and see if there is anything wrong with it. If it does pump water and the motor trips overload, the only thing left to check is the overload. Check the motor's amp draw and if within specs, replace overload. If amps are too high, replace motor.

Goulds j5s pump discharging rusty water and green moss particles. how do i flush

If its discharging all the time, I would say its sucking up contaminated water but if only occasionally, that would suggest something is rusting / deteriorating in the system and it "grows" when the pump is not in use. I would have a close look at the source tank(s), the connecting pipework and as a last resort, disconnect the pump and have a look inside the pump chamber.

How do i prime a gould j5 pump

to make it easy to prime a pump I put a "T" piece in the suction line close to the pump. When it needs priming I take out the plug and put water in the line until the pump is full

Why does my goulds pump j5s draw water to the pump but it won't pump out, what could be wrong and can it be repaired?

you will have to prime the pump after working on the lines. You can get just the pump section but I doubt that there is much wrong other than priming the pump

My water pump when reaches 40psi clicks on and off contineously

Pull the pump and check for blockage holding the foot valve open allowing the pressure to leak past the impellor back in to the water table. Sand --rocks are sucked up during the pump operation and will hold the ball off the seat.
