Question about Gateway MX8711 Notebook
The WLAN IEE 802.11 wireless networking hardware is not functioning properly. Please contact your hardware provider. This is what is listed on the desktop.
Check on Device Manager if it is working properly
Right-click My Computer-Properties-Hardware-Device Manager
Click on the plus sign beside Network Adapter and double-click your wireless card.
Check on the device status if it says it's working properly.
Try to disable-enable the adapter by right-clicking on it under the device manager window.
If it has a question mark, it is most likely driver issues so contact your wireless card manufacturer or PC manufacturer if the wireless card is built in.
