How do i remove cover
Viewing FRONT of computer the LEFT Side panel removes.
Viewing REAR of computer there are two Thumbscrews to loosen.
One towards the Top, one towards the Bottom.
(Not supposed to come all the way out, but OK if they do)
There is a 'bulge', or 'bump' formed at the back of the Side Panel.
This is a fingerpull handle.
Pull back on the Side Panel towards the Rear of the computer.
The Side Panel will only slide so far. This is because there are metal L-shaped tabs formed out of the Side Panel, that go into slots in the metal framework, of the computer case.
The L-shaped tabs are like a hook. You may have to ease the Side Panel a little forward, then the L-shaped tabs will clear the slots, and the Side Panel can be brought out to the side, and removed.
Your body carries Static electricity. Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit), the delicate hardware components inside a computer.
Relieve your body of Static BEFORE reaching inside your unplugged from power, computer.
Computer on a table, computer unplugged from power, computer case open;
TOUCH an unpainted surface, if the metal frame of the open computer case.
This action will relieve your body of Static.
IF, you leave your computer in the middle of working on it, be SURE to Touch the metal frame again upon your return.
May I ask what the problem is, or is this for a simple upgrade?
