My cooling fan on my video card is not running smoothly. Can I just replace the fan? I have a Gateway DX4710-UB002A.

Put the old hdd back in and as soon as u hit power start pushing F10 (or was it F11...anyways, almost like you do a safemode with F8..except this takes you to FACTORY RESTORE instead of system restore (F8)...

Pull the new graphics card out to see if the power supply will start up, if no change, you will need a new power supply module.

There is no keyboard command. You must setup your Network connection to receive wireless. Refer to the manual above.

First you need to find out exact model of your TV Tuner. If it is installed it should be in
Start\Control Panel\System\Device Manager\Sound, video and game controllers.
To check installation you can double click it and in tab "General" you will see "This device is working properly" or not.

Knowing the board part number you can check out Sabrent web site for drivers: http://www.sabrent.com/#itemName=&itemID=0&section=Drivers and see if they have a newer one - if yes, then give it a try.

Depending on whether Gateway used a standard sized fan 40 / 80 or 120 mm fan you might be able to find one at most electronics stores for Somewhere between $2 - $8 USD.

However if it is a proprietary sized fan or if you don't feel comfortable digging around inside of the Power supply. (A power supply contain high voltage capacitors that CAN maintain a charge even once the power is removed) Then it might be more beneficial to you to replace the power supply itself. Most OEM (Manufacturer) power supplies are in the 250-400W range about minimum to run the equipment your PC comes with from the factory..... Now add in any Aftermarket products you install (ie..... High end Video cards, sound cards or additional drive(s) and you can see how easy it would be to exceed your Power Supplies limit) Proprietary fans could demand a premium price if they are a special order and if your not comfortable around High voltage devices, then a new PSU is alot cheaper than a hospital bill for an electrical shock.
